LukaMusic and Griffith Malo released a really good track in August of this year entitled “Hold On”. It’s has the seasonings of a jazz jam session combined with the warmth of the soulful side of house. The blend creates an audio profile of something cool, hip. With a swag, upbeat, smooth, but not overly sophisticated.

I could also hear splashes of old school pure hip hop in this production. The vocals of Jurassic 5 and The Liks (Alkoholics) came to mind. There use to be a time when the two genres collided a little more often. Perhaps going into 2025 we’ll hear more of two together.

Overall a good listen after a long day of dealing with the 9 to 5. The chill. Relax your mind. Also something solid to start your day out to. It’s 100% more uplifting than the news these days.
