Moreno Pezzolato – “Diva” throwback

Moreno Pezzolato. This is a name that didn’t resonate with me until a few months ago. I happened to be on a late night music hunt for a new set when I stumbled across this YouTube recommendation. For once the algorithms worked in my favor because this was definitely was a great find.

New to me, but released May 29th 2020, this funky house track entitled “Diva” featuring OCTAHVIA is the joint. Immediately after pressing play you can feel the high, dance worthy energy this track puts out. If you were a movie producer and needed music for a great come back montage, this is the music you would want.

The drum track paired with the constant pulse of a bass line, this track is what I call forward motion from start to finish.

The vocals from OCTAHVIA are just the icing on the cake. I mean, without her vocals this is not the same track.
